 Broadband Via Satellite Services

2 Way Low Cost Satellite Access
Satellite services include  low cost small profile 2 Way systems, with an impressive coverage from Greenland to China, including the UK, entire Middle East and Eastern Block, India, Pakistan, Australia and the entire African Continent, with many services specifically tailored for high volume use, as examples, Internet cafes and satellite call voice centres. All provided Satellite services come bundled with all of our ISP facilities for free, including domains, unlimited space and throughput for you web sites.

Surfsat.com operates several different service packages and facilities on different satellites, each having their own footprint or coverage. 2 Way systems have their own on board transmitter so no terrestrial link is required, making them suitable for any location under the footprints, select the country you are in and go to the appropriate equipment site for pricing.
 
All services shown below are LOW cost DVB S and DVB RCS 2 Way facilities, for proven VOIP capabilities, please select the DVB RCS systems.
Service costs also include annual free support and all our ISP services for free, including domains and unlimited space and bandwidth hosting. We also operate 2 Way mobile up linking  for remote terrestrial links (with or without power) and can incorporate this into a fully functional Cyber café for trade shows and events or simply as a remote trunk route with full on site management

DVB RCS on W3 Satellite at 7degrees East
128/512 to 256/2Mb

Fully compliant 2 Way DVB RCS system operating on the W3 and AB2 satellites, as well as the PAS1R satellite for West Africa (see below) . A single indoor unit with a UTP interface as standard. Packages from Home at 128/512 to Business at 256/2Mb on 90cm to 1.8m Cassegrain dual optic dish if required. The packages are defined by LOS (level of Service) and available in subnets from a single machine to 29 machines. These systems are particularly good for voip, as the latency does not increase under load unlike the DVB-S services.

 

DVB RCS on W5 Satellite at 70.5 degrees East
128/512 to 512/2Mb

Fully compliant 2 Way DVB RCS system operating on the W5 satellite. A single indoor unit with a UTP interface as standard. Packages from Home at 128/512 to Business at 256/2Mb on 90cm to 1.8m Cassegrain dual optic dish if required. The packages are defined by LOS (level of Service) and available in subnets from a single machine to 29 machines. These systems are particularly good for voip, as the latency does not increase under load unlike the DVB S services. The beam enhances low dish size capabilities across the Middle East and dramatically extends coverage to the Far East.

 

AB2 - W3 / W5 / PAS 1R

Operational
New DVB RCS service using a single indoor unit and high gain Cassegrain dual optic antennas (90cm and 1.2m), being DVB RCS compatible, low cost and unlimited downloading on all services.

Units have a standard Ethernet interface and are suitable for Voice over IP, Internet Access, VPN's, Multicasting, Distance Education, File Transfer, Video Conferencing, Digital Media Streaming.

NEW : CIR capability can now be offered on all W3, W5 and PAS1R systems

Dish sizes are 90cm, 1.2m and 1.8m.

Packages are from 128k / 512k residential to 256k / 2mb business, and CIR (dedicated bandwidth) is available on a pre booked basis for real-time high speed dedicated access. On the W5 satellite, uplink speeds are available to 512K

These systems are immediately available for Europe and the Middle East, and West Africa (Pricing for all beams is shown at the bottom of this document)

Indoor Unit
A high performance satellite IP terminal that delivers broadband access with a high-speed return channel. Global Service Providers, ISP's and corporations require efficient, broadband IP networking solutions to satisfy bandwidth-intensive applications such as internet access, digital media streaming, video conferencing, distance education, file transfer, multicasting and Virtual Private Networks. The system is a low cost solution for these and many other IP-based services.

The unit receives a broadband DVB outbound channel to 60Mbps and provides a broadband satellite return channel with speeds up to 1.150Mbps. The F-TDMA broadband return channel provides efficient broadband on demand and has DVB RCS compliant turbo coding for enhanced throughput performance.

The unit supports IP routing, IP Multicasting, IP quality of Service, and TCP spoofing for 10Mbps of Unicast throughput. The Web based NMS is simple to operate, easy to configure, provides traffic statistics and call detail records, and offers SNMP.

Antennae
For the 90cm and the 1.8m dish, we provide a dual optic Cassegrain system, that provides unprecedented gain meaning that fringe areas and locations with excessive rain fade can operate on a smaller sized dish.
